Personally submitting passport at Embassy

Greetings to all,

Is there anybody here who got their passport request letter like this?

All required documents must be submitted personally to the following address on (date and time of same-day appointment):

and my embassy is in Manila, Phil. i wanted to send our passports via courier but this one confuses me, Please advice what did you guys do. Thank you so much,

Never heard of this case before, maybe they require a personal appearance from you for certain reasons.

this is the 2nd request of passport, the 1st one was last Sept, i sent it via courier then we got our PR visa. About to land November but im at risk of flying at 38weeks pregnant and so my doctor didn't allowed me to travel. I sent our passport back to have it cancelled since i need add my newborn to our application. Finally, we got another request but this time, it says personally. looks like we all need to go to VAC to have it stamped eh.

Oh so the address they provided was the VAC? I thought it was referring to the Manila Embassy, as you indicated in the topic title.

Either way, I never heard of a personal appearance requirement at the VAC, unless they require biometrics, but they don't usually request it for Philippine passport holders.

oh isnt it the same? So the right one should be Embassy.
