If I have a $100,000 fixed deposit, is it enough to declare just that or must I also declare everything I have?

if this is for London office, wait for other London applicants to reply.

for anywhere else, this is enough...

Isn't net worth means all that you have? Am I not underdeclare if I don't tell them all that I have?

no visa office apart from London asks for personal net worth statement... for all others, FD statements are good enough...

Singapore office does ask for personal net worth statement. I am just not sure if I will be guilty of underdeclare if I don't tell all.

oh.. ok... my lack of information...

Singapore is now clubbed with London... but, answer remains same ... wait for someone from London or Singapore office to reply...

I submitted bank statements from Abu Dhabi and from Manila, both liquid. I declared only what is reflected in my bank statements. Nothing more, nothing less. I do have real estate and fixed deposit accounts in other banks, but how will they know that I have these in the first place if I don't declare them? right?

Although, I do not know if your total net worth affects their decision to either accept or reject an application.

I already submitted all my documents 2 weeks back. I'll keep you posted on what happens.

Hi All,

I appiled from London and on the recent document update I just sent my Bank Statements and a letter from the Bank stating how much available in the account. Thats all.

Regards,

hi
I mailed to CHC about property evaluation issue.. i got a positive reply

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

You may get your assest evaluated by Chartered accountant and submit the CA's valuation report as a present proof of funds alongwith other documents.

We trust that this information will be of assistance."

We actually submitted our property docs and valuation report as a proof of fund.
I did a short anlysis of the equity we have in the property and amount to be realized when sold.
This was attached to the property docs and used as proof of settlement fund.
I think this help in your application consideration aferall you have nothing to lose if you include it.
Best of luck

I sent photocopies of the documents of the property I own and the property that is willed in my name without getting them evaluated and I did not have any problem and it was probably accepted and I was issued the visa .
there is no harm in doing so as it may add weight to your application.
