Hi,

Do I need to submit two pieces of ID or just one? It says one on the checklist, but two on the guide.

I have a health card and want to use that as my ID. However, my second ID I wanted to use is a citizen card from my country and it expired last year. Can I still use it or do I need to renew it first?

Thanks!

Two pieces of identification IDs:

Passport biographical page + Photo IDs issued by the Canadian government (= health card + driver license or Photo ID card* e,g. Ontario photo card)

*An Photo Card is a wallet sized card that provides government-issued identification to those residents who do not have a driver's licence.

Hope it helps.

If you have a passport from your country use that instead along with the health card. Just as Mike263 as suggested.

Best not to send an expired ID card.
