Hey guys.

I've seen a lot of topics about those issues, but none of them could help me.

1. Personal activities
This is my personal activities history in the last 10 years:
12/2005 - High school
01/2006 ~ 02/2006 - Unemployed, waiting for university
03/2006 ~ 08/2011 - University 1
08/2011 ~ 08/2015 - University 2
04/2010 ~ 01/2011 - Work experience 1
02/2011 ~ 02/2012 - Work experience 2
07/2013 ~ Now - Work experience 3

However, I stopped my second university for 7 months to take a work and study program in Canada. Should this period be mentioned there (07/2012 ~ 02/2013 - Work and study in Canada) or should I leave it for Travel History?
Should I break the Canadian experience into 3.5 months of studying and 3.5 months of working (or looking for a job, as it was my case) or can I leave it as a 7 months Work and Study Program?
If I have to mention this period in Personal Activities, should I break the second university into two periods, or just leave it how it is?

2. Travel history
I may remember all of the trips I have taken in the last 10 years, but the exact date is really hard to remember. Is it ok if I input an approximate date for the trips (I can get month and year, but the day is really hard to remember)?

I really appreciate your help.

Can I get any help from the experts, please? ???

Re: personal history: yes, I think you should mention the work/study period in your personal history. Break your university 2 periods into two phases. About the time spent in Canada, if your visa/status in Canada was work/study and the "study" part was what allowed you to "work" then it means that the entire stay was covered by your school's "study program" - in practical terms, if that's the case (i.e., if you didn't have to get a special work permit to work and just your study visa sufficed), then you need not break down the "study" and "looking for work" months. For CIC's purposes, you will have been with the university/college during the entire time.

Re: Travel history: try to be as close as you can recollect. Exact dates may not be available in some instances and I think CIC will be fine if you're a few days off. I don't think it's much of a concern. If you don't know the exact dates, then you don't know the exact dates, right? If you're worried about it, include a very brief LOE saying the dates you provided in that section is approximate and to the best of your knowledge etc.

Best wishes.

Hi,
I don't know to which countries you travelled. I also couldn't remember exact dates, so I just checked the airport entry/exit stamps on my passports & I found the dates.

Dates do not need to be exact. I know that some people use to put month "12/2001 - 03/2002"

This is credited. This is what I did with my 2007 travels. But I was lucky. I could have easily misplaced my expired passports ;D. If I was a citizen of certain countries, I might have had to hand over my prior passport when getting a new passport. I hope ya'll get the drift. So there may be instances where exact dates may not be available. If OP is in such a situation, then s/he should be fine with approximate dates and if paranoid, attaching a VERY brief LOE stating the dates are approximate.

Thank you for your answer.

My work/study program was an ESL school's program. I had a study permit and a work permit. I've got the WP because I had the SP (I could only work for the same time as I studied). But since my job hunting period was a failure, I thought I should just put 7 months of Work and Study, with the name of the school, since I was with the school all the time.
