Was this the only reason to switch from new to old package or any other too?

Did you try asking somebody if you can write current date and then write with pen as present above it?

I sent the old one because it was already ready. I was just waiting to see what was different with the new one. I thought to send the new form Personal History - Background declaration with my old package because it was dated as the most recent one, but because of that issue I didn't send it.
I didn't ask anyone about it thinking it's probably a bug like Survivor27 said.
I was also thinking to write it by hand but the problem was still there, couldn't validate ....
Hopefully someone has a solution to this for the new applicants...

Did you try asking somebody if you can write current date and then write with pen as present above it? - This is what I did since we used the old forms. I even had a separate sheet because the space was not enough to provide my Personal History.

So 2 things I am going to do now eith this issue.
1. Calling CIC to report
2. Setting the date I am signing the form as TO DATE for my present activity and then will write PRESENT RIGHT ABOVE IT WITH A BLACK PEN.

I doubt. Although for a peace of mind and if ever you will be asked (may or most likely not) later on to explain in detail about working and studying at the same time, is the reason why I mentioned about having a separate letter.

Great! Yea, am aware about adding new rows on the new IMM 5669. So you filled it exactly the same you had it posted above? 2010 on the bottom or just a sample? Glad though that you were able to finally Validate.

Yeah buddy! This is the exact way I did now. If this is fine then the only thing remaining is the ONGOING checkbox and TO DATE bug.

BTW, did you see any problem or confusion in the way I changed it? Means, starting feom 2017 To 2006 and then again 2006 to 2013.
