Hello everyone,
I have resided in the same place for around 3 yrs but i have travelled for holidays for a week back then. For filling out addresses, should I put my residential address for the whole three yrs or should I give the address of the hotel i resided for a week during my holiday??

Thank you

Are your trips international trips? If so, you will need to write the address of the hotel and provide photocopies of the customs stamps on your passport to show you crossed borders. Otherwise, you can just write your residential address.

Short holidays and short business trips (domestically or abroad) don't count as a change in address. You will have to mention them in the Travels section, but for the addresses part, you only mention the addresses where you "resided", received mail, etc.

In your address history, you should put only your home residence for those three years you were there. CIC uses your address history for identifying which police certificates you will provide. While your holidays/vacation trips should be filled in the "travel history" section.

Hope this helps

Have they asked you proof of 10 years of residence as well ??
Or would the current address proof be fine ? I was living abroad for 8 years so does that change things ?

No they haven't asked for a proof of residence. I have received ITA but i haven't submitted my profile yet. Maybe after submission, they ask for it but i hope not.
