personal funds for visa in general category

Hi,

I will be applying for my student visa in general category, do i have to show the source of small deposit amounts like 500000? and since we have to show 4 months bank statements, can i only show funds for the last 3 months?

dear melanie, referring to my other post to your query i want to state that you have to have a genuine source of your deposits... no need to show the embassy where the money came from...

the funda is that you should have an idea what to say or how to explain if visa officer enquires about same from you

Thanx, we are totatly 6 students who are applying to canada and we want to try to do it on our own. v all r using my ID to collect as much info as possible
also do u have ny info abt the refund of fees in case the visa gets declined?
