Hi,

I applied for Surrender Certificate in person at Missisauga location.
My application status has been updated to "Ready for Collection"

What do I have to do now? At the office, they said it would be delivered by mail but the status doesn't suggest the same. Can someone help me here, please

If you applied for courier service it will get delivered at home.

I have what seems to be an odd situation. I surrendered my Indian passport in 2010, received a cancelled stamp, but no certificate. I've since travelled to India multiple times on a tourist visa without any issue, and the cancelled stamp has always sufficed. Now, for an OCI, I'm being asked to provide a surrender certificate.

Does anyone have experience navigating this kind of issue?
