Personal details remain in progress after maintenance

It only fixed my personal details but having issue the contact details for an unaccompanying child. Any advice ?
May I know if this has been fixed on your side? Same issue encountered. Only personal details has beem resolved. I have done clearing my cache and system reboot and even tried another computer that I have never used to login before.

Same issue encountered. Personal details has been resolved but the Contact details of my accompanying child is still the same In Progress status even the form is alreadt completed. I have cleared my cache and rebooted the system. May I know if this has been resolved on your side? Thank you.

Good day,

As you may be aware, some applicants have been experiencing issues using the Express Entry Profile Builder, and have been unable to submit their application. While this was partially fixed, an issue continues to impact applicants who have dependent children who are over the age of 18, and are residing in Canada.

In order to circumvent this issue, you will have to do the following: in the Personal Details section for your dependent child who is over the age of 18, you will have to change their country of residence from Canada to their country of citizenship. This should allow the page to advance to the uploads and submission stage. Please also provide an explanation within the application. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/apply-permanent-residence.html

Exactly! Having same issue with 'contact details' for an accompanying child. The fix was only applicable to the 'Personal details' form.
I called IRCC moments ago to inform them that they fix did not work across board. But they insisted that it has been fixed and that I need to clear my cache, browsing history and reboot system. Steps I already took... Told the agent it did not work, but he basically insisted they fixed it. And that I should give it some time and try again. I plan to call back in a couple of hours today.
If you can, you should give them a call too.


Glad I'm not the only one with the issue at this point.

Hi. The issue with the contact details form for my dependent did not get resolved. However, given that one of IRCC's correspondence to me indicated that the issue was with personal details form for dependents over age 18,

- I used the modify family info button to edit my dependent DOB to be 18 years (not above). This got rid of the 'problematic' contact details form, but also the 'Personal History' form.

- I was able to proceed to upload document page...

- Then I did an LOE, highlighting why I had to make those changes, and all the efforts explored to rectify the issue;
- i.e. screenshots of the email correspondence with IRCC, reporting technical difficulty
- screenshot of the 'In progress' page and the filled contact detail form page (including browser URL)
- and screenshot of the completed Personal History that was removed due to modification done .....

- Then I submitted and paid.


Summarily, this is what I did. Hopefully the officer is able to appreciate the technical difficulties experienced....

Hi all,

The issue with the profile builder showing “in progress for a dependent child over 18 yo and not residing in Canada is still an unresolved problem although all required information has been entered. I have cleared caches and used different browsers as others have suggested. But, those efforts have failed to resolve the issue.

IRCC sent us the same “workaround” that has been mentioned here. However, that measure is not applicable since our child doesn’t live in Canada. We have not had any other correspondence from IRCC. We have submitted at help ticket via the web form and are awaiting a reply.

Thank you Perfect.Nan for the suggested workaround. If this issue doesn’t get resolved soon, we will be doing the same thing. Have you received a response from IRCC on whether or not your application is in process?

The issue with contact details for dependent over 18 years old was fixed in maintenance done this morning . :):)
This is fantastic news!!! Thank you so much for letting us know. We have,in fact, been able to proceed to the document upload section.
