Hello guys,

Study permit got refused because of the one reason I mentioned below:
"I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status."

Any recommendations or advise on how to address this concern? thanks

How long is the program? Did you pay first year tuition? how much in funds did you show? Is this for you or someone else?

It is for my cousin. He made only the initial tuition fees deposit requested by the school to secure his spot. His fees is $13500 per year and so he showed a total of $24,000 as proof of funds

He should have paid first year tuition, not just deposit. If he pays deposit, he needs to show more funds especially if the program is two years

It is always safe to show sufficient funds for 2 years.
