Permanent visa processing time in LA

I submitted my passport with that of my family to the LA embassy since the 23rd of Feb. 2012 and have not received them back, its almost 4 weeks now. Does anyone have similar experience or know how long it takes to get the PR visa stamp, am worried because I did not send a prepaid envelope.

I having similar problem. I submitted mine since Feb 28 still no reply. Friend of mine said it took them only 2 weeks, but I'm still waiting.

I got the same problem, i sent the passport to LA at Feb 21 by UPS. LA received my passport at Feb 22nd. My status change to DM at Mar23. I haven't got any tracking information from UPS yet.

If you don't have prepaid envelop it will take about 21 days after your passport mail out from vo, you can get it
