Permanent Residents with expired cards - ways to renew PR card

Hi Members,

I am new to this forum and I have questions about the best way to renew an expired PR card, when the residency requirement has not been met and the PR
is not resident in Canada.

Please can someone kindly post information based on successful renewal cases
and/or possible options one has in such a case.
