So a PR who drives drunk loses their status and is removed from Canada?
Basically, it has to go via an IRPA S. 44(1) report, then via S. 45 and S. 46 to a possible removal order. Once the removal order is activated, the PR status is revoked.
However, there are a number of check and balances in the process, so it would have to be a significant inadmissibility to gain a removal order.

See http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/I-2.5/page-19.html#h-23

So zardoz as it was an infraction and not a violent crime would it be equivalent to a littering fine in Canada?
