Hello everyone :

I was wondering if anybody knows how long the PR visa is valid for? How long do they give you before you move to Canada after visa is stamped in passport ...

They will give you until your medical or passport expires. That is why in some cases when they notify you of decision made, they will ask if you can land by a specific date (if it is close to your medical expiring) for example.

not only will it be valid until your medical anniversary dates, many recent COPRs have an expiration date a few weeks AFTER the medical anniversary date. My COPR was valid for 3 additional weeks. This seems to be a common trend.
