Permanent Resident to Sponsor a Spouse Open Work Permit

If the person sponsoring is already a PR, then no, their spouse does not qualify for an open work permit.

While she is waiting for her PR grant, she obtained an OPW with TRV. She is working in Canada right now. Her OPW will expire soon on May 2015.

2. Yes - she must add you as a dependent if you get married before her PR is granted.
3. If you are now married then your wife MUST add you to her PR application.

Absolutely 100% agree. Please note the word "must". It is NOT an option... Failing to do so could result in being reported for an offence of "misrepresentation" and a potential 2 years ban from Canada.
Just an update, the Canadian Embassy in Manila is requesting our passports for our PR application.
However, my wife is already residing in Toronto and I am in Singapore.
Can we mail our passports to the Manila Embassy separately? In their email, I get the impression the Embassy is expecting the passports together.
