Yes, certainly! But to work legally, you also need a SIN card. As soon as you get the SIN number, one can apply for any job, anywhere in Canada.

SIN number is the Social Insurance Number I presume! After landing does it take long to get this?

after landing it takes about 15 mins at service Canada...

If you apply in person, you will get the SIN number at the same time (the actual card would be mailed to you later). For jobs, you only need SIN number not the card.
