The call center agent informed me that the card has arrived at local IRCC office. The pick up letter should be out next week.

Hi, Did you receive any letter from local office yet?? I am still waiting for the letter; haven't heard anything. Called agent and they mentioned there is an update on Dec 20 - not sure if that is the day when local office mailed out letter or something else.

I just wanted to post my timeline here since I've found this forum to be a great resource for my own visa. It's also been a pretty frustrating process!!

Landing appointment in Montreal on 3rd October 2018, received COPR and a promise that I would get a card in six weeks.
Called CIC on December 10th as I hadn't received the card and was told that it hadn't been processed and normal wait times had been exceeded.
Applied for Permanent Resident Travel Document while in home country for Christmas (UK) since I didn't have my PR card to return to Canada.
28th December 2018, VFS Global processed my PTRD application and CIC finally approved my PR card.

Hi All

Wondering if someone can shed a bit of light....my application and my wife's both state 'Decision Made', but unable to see exactly what the decision is....so will it actually show up or not? (apologies if it's a silly question)

Our timeline was as follows:
1) We received your application for a Permanent Resident Card on October 22, 2018
2) We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on December 14, 2018
3) We started processing your application on December 14 2018

On the client application status page it states my name and in the box alongside it 'Decision Made,''.....so was wondering now what next and time frame to rejection or receiving the card?

Many Thanks in advance and Happy Holidays to all!

Just to update everyone both mine and my wife's status now shows as 'COMPLETE' and status states that cards have been dispatched out, still yet to received them though but with the holiday period and postal strike I'm anticipating them within the next few days (Based in Ontario). Next step or challenge even will be applying for Citizenship from March 2019, let's see what challenge that poses lol as staying put here for 2 years+ wasn't easy but hey we've managed it as we try and forge a life here.....Plan B is always return back home UK lol.

All the best to everyone still in process and a Happy New Year in advance, this is a great forum and moving forward I'll try and help where possible as many others have assisted.

Thank you All!

Hi,
My parents applied for PR renewals together, why only my dad's info is showing but still couldn't find my mom's account info online.
For my dad:
  1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on October 24, 2018.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on December 17, 2018.
  3. We started processing your application on December 17, 2018
Now the status is Decision made. But no other info available..
Thanks very much

Hi All,

Can anybody answer this question?

For PR renewal, do CIC also ask about police clearance certificate from home country if the applicant has lived more than 6 months in the home country in the last 5 years?

There is no mention of PCC from home country for PR Renewal, thats not part of the documents you need to submit, but you will need to do so for Citizenship though.

Does anyone have a renewal application that has been showing online status 'In progress' for a while? (i.e. not "decision made" yet)

No updates yet :( , after the acknowldgement and status in Process since 18-Dec ...
