Permanent resident of Quebec sponsoring an egyptian husband

Forgive my stupidity , mostly this question was discussed before, but i really can"t afford the time to read ALL this forum, so:

Where do i get the very first formular -THE SPONSORSHIP APPLICATION, for Quebec residents, which i understand is not the same as for the rest of Canada;

i keep searching and printing all instructions and formulars, i checked the link "Sponsors living in Quebec" but it only brings me to the same pages , back and forth and i see that checking list IMM5491 is not entirely applicable to Quebec sponsors.

Did anyone finish already such a sponsorship? how long it took as a total?

Québec makes things as confusing as possible. Basically, ignore Québec for now. I think the only real difference in the beginning is that you don't have to include the Option C form for proof of income. Complete the sponsorship AND PR applications and send them together to Mississaugua. The only real difference within Québec is that CIC will send you a letter instructing you to apply for your partner's CSQ (certificat de sélection du Québec). You'll fill out the undertaking form from Québec and send that with the letter from CIC and payment of $269 to Québec's immigration ministry, and they'll certify the undertaking and return it to you with two copies of the CSQ. They are supposed to send one copy to CIC (and in my case, they did, but I've read of others who have had issues with this), so you just have an extra copy "in case."
