Hello to everyone.. Im from the Philippines and my husband is in Quebec. We are going to pay for our Application but my question is.. Is okey to pay the Permanent Resident Fee later because it says on the guide that they recommend to pay all the fees once.. we're kind of in a tight budget right now. Does it going to delay our application or lets say can my husband pay the processing fees right now and pay the Permanent Resident Fee next month? Thank you and I hope someone can help us on this matter.

Hello
Yes, You can pay it later, If you are on tight budget.. However, it is advised to pay it up front so it doesn't delay the process as many ppl say. Usually, they will ask to pay the fee once they request your sponsor's passport near the end of the process. But to be honest, I am not sure how that will affect the application for Philippines. My suggestion is that if you are tight budgeted then you can pay the fee once they ask for it.

Yes, it is okay to pay later but it is true, once your application reaches the appropriate stage there will be a delay while they are letting you know that it is time to pay and then the amount of time that it takes you to process such payment.
