What If you don't have a Canadian Address yet? We will be moving next summer but will be landing this fall.

you need to have a canadian address for the PR card. Do you know anyone in canada whose address you can use? if not, try getting a mailbox set up somewhere so you can receive mail. otherwise, don't land until you are ready to move and have a canadian address.

You can get a `real' mailing address at the UPS Store. It's pricey, but it might be worth it.

Mine was mailed to a PO Box without issue.

How do you get a PO Box if you're outside Canada and won't be visiting before you move?

Have posted the below response to your other post.

You have the option to give an address to the officer at landing. If you do not have a permanent address at that time, then the immigration officer will advise you on how to provide it later.

You have to provide an address within 180 days. If for any reason you do not supply an address after 180 days, the PR card application will be cancelled (application only - not your PR status), and you will need to re-apply for a new PR Card and pay the fees for this (currently $100 if I remember correctly).

Just have it sent to a friend or family member's address.

Does anybody know how the mail comes, is it Registered mail or regular mail?
