Permanent Resident application - started or not?

Hello guys!

I'm sponsoring my wife through Family Sponsorship class, and until now this is everything that is added when I am verifying the application status:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on October 14, 2016.
2. Medical results have been received.

I wonder if the process already started in some date after the application been received, or they probably forgot to add? What would come next if do so?

you'd better order notes for your case, many oct applicants have already got the visa, you should contact cic to double check what stage you are at now.

Yes, not much in the way of progress for an October submission. Have you received sponsor approval yet and have they transferred it to a local visa office? If not, then yes, get case notes asap.

She did not receive any email about sponsor approval yet, even a letter as well. Really, I guess that is better contact them to get some notes of the case. Do you know any contact info that I could talk to someone that could help us out?

I would raise a case specific query here:

Wouldn't bother with the call centre as they are known to give out duff information and are generally pretty useless.
