Permanent resident and family sponsorship timeline

Hello! I need some help here.

Just couple of small questions. First can I apply for my permanent resident status and at the same time apply to sponsor my husband under the family sponsorship?

Is this process taking long? I'm from
Colombia, we have been married for 3 years now and I have been here in Canada for over a year now. I will apply next year when I reach the 2 years. He is a chef and I study advertising, we both speak English and I do speak French as well.

I have been here in Canada under the live in caregiver program and I honestly want to have my husband with me soon, I know everyone would love hat with their relatives so I just want a little bit of help. I have heard some stories that involves years and years and I'm already 30 so I don't want to spend the next 5 years of my young life not having my husband with me.

You must be a permanent resident or Canadian citizen before you are eligible to sponsor your husband, so you'll need to do your own permanent resident application first.

100% wrong. If someone is married and applying for PR, they include their spouse as a dependent in their PR application. Both of them will then receive PR at the same time.
