Kindly let me know about the changes expected in 2013?

Is it going to be compulsory to first pass the licensing examination and then only apply for permanent residency.I am a dentist from India and would like to know about the steps involved in the application procedure.

Please reply as soon as possible.

Regards

That would depend on the province you are landing in.

But expect to study again. I have a lot of friends who are doctors in India, they already finished their residencies and subspec in India yet they are required to study (again!) for another year or so and then re-do their 4-year residency. Prepare for time, money and effort once you land in Canada.

Goodluck!
