Hi, I am an 18-year-old student that just supposedly became a permanent resident through Humanitarian Compassionate Grounds application.
When I check the status of my application, it says that I became a permanent resident on May 26th, and I did not get any emails or anything that confirms this. They did not ask me to send a photo either.
I really need to get my SIN number as soon as possible but I have no legal document that shows my current status in Canada right now. Since they did not ask for a photo, I am worried that I will not be able to get my PR card soon and will not be able to apply for OSAP.
Please let me know what I should do, or what to expect if any of you guys are or have been in this situation.
