Hey guys,
I have a post-graduate work permit which expires in February. I'm currently working as an HR in a company since March, but I'm a contractor. My employer doesn't want to give me a full-time position or help me with LMO. I completed a post-graduate program at George Brown College, Human Resources Management.
Can I take a Master's program (I'm thinking about taking HRM Master's program at York University) and will I be able to apply for a permanent residence card after Master's?
Please give me a piece of advice about my current situation.

Yes - you'll be able to apply for PR through Ontario's PNP program after you complete a Masters (provided Ontario still has this immigration program open when you finish - right now it's labeled as a "pilot"). Note that you won't be able to apply for a PWGP again. Unfortunately that's only a one time deal.

Thanks a lot. After I graduate and get Masters degree, what status will I get? a temporary work permit while I'm waiting for a PR card? or just a visitor status?
