Hi Seniors,

I along with my family just completed my landing formalities in November and planning to go back in early next year so I am in process of applying PRTD and while filling form I came across following questions. Kindly help me in addressing these questions:

9. The number on your Record of Landing, Confirmation of Permanent Residence or Permanent Resident Card
Is it the "Document no." mentioned on COPR starting with letter 'T' or is it UCI number ?

16.Absence while accompanying a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident outside Canada
Have you accompanied a Canadian citizen or permanent resident while outside Canada ?

Should I say YES/OR for this question as I am living with my Spouse and Child who are also PR of Canada.

How can I prove Residency obligation as I am new PR?

Kindly suggest.

16. No. This option is if you want to claim days you lived outside Canada towards your residency obligations.
You don't really need to prove you residency obligations. If you want, you may add an explanation letter just to make this clear since you are a new landed PR. Good Luck!

I am sort of similar situation. I recently got PR and we are planning to travel. I need to apply PRTD. In the checklist 8, submit proof of permanent resident status in Canada ( minimum 2 documents). What should I submit for that?
one would be COPR
what else?
