Dear friends,

I will be travelling to Canada on Work permit next week.. Can I apply for Permanent resident card as soon as I come there ? How long it will take for the processing ? I might stay max. upto 6 months. is there any possibility to get my PR before that so that I can search for my own job ?

Someone please help me .. !

How soon you can apply for PR will depend on whether you qualify. You should review the various PR programs here to determine if you can apply:

How long the processing takes will depend on which category you apply through.

No - there is no chance that you will be able to get PR in six months.

in which field did you apply for work permit
can you let us know exact dates when u applied in delhi online and when u got medical
and how long it took for visa garneted
