normally we will receive automated email from IRCC since we submit application ? before we get AOR ? I am not sure
The system automatically generate an automatic email after the application has been submitted online.
OP check your junk folder maybe it’s there
You should get the following email from them. This is not AOR:

As long as it says submitted, you would be good to go.
Some people do get an email stating the application was "Submitted" (Note: that is different than "Received" which comes with AOR)
But some people don't get that email. Don't sweat too much, if in the portal it says Submitted, it means you have an application in the system and you should get your AOR within 3 months or so.
