Hello to all,
If we go by the CIC'S processing system, " We have received medical results", precedes the "DECISION MADE" under ecas status.Following diagram should make the thing clear :

"Stage-1: [CIO stage] Send Initial Apps+Processing Fees to CIO-NS > Qualitative Check > Issue of AOR+120 days Letter >

Stage-2: [CHC stage onwards] Send Full Docs+RPRF to the Local Visa Office > File on Queue > e-Cas: "Received by Visa Office" > Eligibility Check+PSDEC > Issue of 2nd AOR > Background Check > Issue of Additional docs Request [if any] > 1st BF'D > e-Cas: "In Process" > Send Addnl. Docs > Issue of Med Request > 2nd BF'D >

Stage-3: Meds Sent+ppr +any other docs asked by vo> e-Cas: "Medical Results Recd." > Security Check > Visa/s Stamped > e-Cas: "Decision Made"

Stage-4: Return of 'Stamped' Passport/s+COPR > Landing at the POE > e-Cas: "Completed"."
Good luck nd MAY GOD BLESS ALL !!!

So, we r at the stage of security checks. which r conducted by 3rd party agencies. now the main thing of concern is whether it has begun or not?
It may be the case that our files r still in a store room waiting to be looked upon from 6 jan,2013 onwards....aah God knows what they r upto.

Thanks parhar51.

Just one more ques. Many friends on the forum mention that a Canadian address would appear on the ecas.

When does that appear and what does it it indicate?

+1 to you :D

hold down hold down dear this line is showing in my status from fab2012 to till date beacause on fab 25 i got refusal after this status was shown n which was due to big mistake of canadian ambassye(as......... they have changed my NOC).and after concidering their mistake they reopen my case n finally i got MR but my ecase status is still showing theis lines................i mconfused why they did'nt remove thies lines from my status.............?
Oh am sorry for the mix up then. Dont worry, they are not changing the ecas status on a regular basis. My bro who got his PR in 2010 had the same thing. his status was updated only once he landed there.

Guess CHC is using all its manpower to finalize our file than updating the ecas. so just be happy that ur DD was encashed and the visa will be with u in Jan, 2013.

Thanks very much mate! Sometimes things are right under our nose and we tend to ignore them. Background and Security checks have been very clearly defined by Qorax. With medical docs submitted, it seems like the dream is about to get realized now! May it be true for all the people who hav put in their time and effort and waited for an awfully long time. God bless all!

Hello frnds ,
we r still waiting for DM, our PPts are with CHC since 5th July,

Actually I want to share one event, as my cousin had applied for M-PNP, he was working with my company from 2008 to 2010 and now working with another firm ,he applied in Sept 2010 to M-PNP. Now his file is at Delhi, I got verification call about his work experience this Friday, they called all of us ( Me, cousin, and current employer) at same time, Phone nos are 41782000, 41782050, and one cell no *****11776 ( can,t give this number may be its her personal no).She was talking in regional language ( Punjabi)
As I concluded that they have nothing more than what we given to them.. and what, they searched about us from internet, they search us by name in Google and in Facebook, LinkedIn twitter, so i advise you to set your social sites security to frnds only ( No one can see your information) and set your "status" accordingly.
they searched my company in internet and found information about that,
they want us to talk more than him/her, they want much more information than our files, then they find questions from our words and ask each of us same question,
they ask me about duration of his work, I said I have only rough Idea , I have to remind all ..what happened two years back and can't give you dates,, she said Ok. she asked me and my cousin all about..
Duty time for workers, weekly off day, Yearly holidays, name of co-workers at that time, type of Machines how many workers were at that time, type of work he was doing, , about his family, his pay, mode of payment, How I contacted him in case if i had to ( Cell no.).
That was a 25 minutes call, at last I told her That she can call me any time if she needs more information.
One more thing.. always be Genuine , and truthful (as "Truth never needs to Remember",)while talking to inquiry persons, they are trained to detect frauds and have lots of questions (which we can't expect)
Hope this will help
regards
TPD

Some info related to PR benefits:

When you become a permanent resident of Canada, you are entitled to most of the same rights and privileges as a Canadian citizen. Below is a list of a few of these rights:

- You are entitled to equal treatment and equal protection.
- You are entitled to certain legal rights, such as to be presume innocent until proven guilty
- To be provided with an interpreter in the courtroom, if necessary to have a lawyer
- You have the right to enter and exit Canada as you see fit, plus you can move freely from province to province.
- You can work and study anywhere you choose in Canada (you cannot hold some high-security government positions, however.)

While most of these rules also apply to temporary Canadian residents, there are some social service benefits that are only or primarily designed to help permanent residents and citizens of Canada.

These benefits include, but are not limited to, the following:
Canada Child Tax Benefit (CCTB) – For families with children under the age of 18 who are considered to have a low-income, the Canadian government provides monthly tax-free payments to help cover expenses.

Old Age Security, Guaranteed Income Supplement, and Canada Pension Plan – All three of these programs are designed to provide financial support to workers after they reach retirement age – currently age 65. To be eligible, you have to meet specific residency requirements and to have contributed to the system by paying taxes in Canada. However, most permanent residents will qualify for at least partial payments from these programs.

Universal health care – Most necessary medical expenses are covered through the Canadian universal health care program. These expenses include visits to emergency room, immunizations, yearly exams, etc.

Free education – All children under 18 are entitled to a free education in the Canadian public school system.

Maternity and parental leave – In Canada, working parents are given time off when a new baby is born or adopted. Women can take up to 12 months of maternity leave and receive 50 to 65% of their normal income. Partially paid parental leave is also available for up to 35 weeks. One parent can take all 35 weeks or both parents can split the allotment of time (i. e. one parent takes 20 weeks while the other takes 15 weeks). To be eligible for parental leave, you must have worked in Canada for at least 600 hours.

All of these benefits and more become available to you when you are a permanent resident of Canada.

Additionally, being a permanent resident gives you the opportunity to become a Canadian citizen after only three years of living and working in Canada.

Once you become a citizen, you can run for political office, become involved in political activities, and vote in elections. You can also maintain duel-citizenship, so you don't have to give up citizenship in your home country just to enjoy the benefits of Canadian citizenship.
