NDVO is now making the entry with immigration to Canada such a painful process that most of us are now in depression. They are now inviting depressed people to Canada. We apply with so much of enthusiasm and hopes and over a period of 2-3 years they treat the applicants in such a manner that the applicants loose all the steam. It is like asking a 100 meters sprinter to warm up and prepare for the race and than having him wait at the start line for two days without firing the start gun.

It is not the wait but the uncertainty which is killing. Some are waiting for Medicals, some are waiting for Stamping, some are waiting for Passports. I am sure no one is able to plan the life in these circumstances.

Why do these people not understand the psychology of human beings !!!!!!

My full Docs were submitted to NDVO on 9th November 2010, I got the 2nd AOR on 18-1-2011. In process is May31 2012.
Brought forward date as per GCMS is 01-01-2013.

So i think balance NOC code 0213 need to wait till 2013 just 0 is shifted before 2 to after 2.

I am from NOC 0213 with submission dates as shown in my profile...however, I have still not received my MR and still waiting. I think that the MRs are sent based on the application dates / docs received within individual NOCs. So if the NOC is priority based, then it will be fast tracked (irrespective of the number of applicants, there will be more MRs floating) compared to 0213 (IT...no one wants us really ???) which is running on a slow track...

I could be entirely wrong, but this is my assessment based on analysing the data on the various forums...

Happy waiting...but someday, we all will be in Canada....

There is pressure on personal and professional front on the next step in life and career.

After PR application, not able to take any step further. Not able to plan anything in life till this gets further. Considering that we have bet on this for almost 3 years, there is always a question in the mind as when will it end.

Even if NDVO provides timeline for each application (that you application will be processed by xx date) then in the mid term we can plan something.

Hopefully someone from NDVO will read this blog and understand our plight. Keeping fingers crossed for "Happy Landing 2013"

Dear OMG, Sunnyji nd others,
The agony of ur hearts is understanable.Whenever I go through the posts of fellow members who are still made to wait for their MR letters, it really hurts, especially because we all know how excrutiating the wait is.We all, being professionals, have put on hold to many of our critical career realted decisions.Quite naturally,as the time passes by,it would become increasingly difficult if our wait is extended.
My heart goes to all my friends in the forum.Easier said than done,it is my request to all my brethern/sisters to light the candle of hope nd keep praying to Almighty.May be,our success is approaching fast to us.

Hi Friends,

First of all Sorry not to update the forum on the Good New due to extremely tied up schedule, I received my Medical request on 9th Dec 2012 by e-mail , (I read d mail late) Got the request for the following:-

1. Original PCC.
2. Original Passports.
3. IMM0008, Schedule A, Foreign Travel History Forms.
4. Recent Passport size pics.
5. RPRF fees.
6. Medicals to be undertaken

Have done medicals on 24th Dec 2012, got PCC on 1st Jan 2013, send the entire package to NDVO yesterday. Now have some time to at least take some breath...

Guys keep ur hopes enlighted, NDVO is surely working on our files, thy need to clear the backlog asap, the new files intake has been postponed from Jan to May 2013... :-X

No, it doesnt, u can sent a CSQ (Case Specific Qerry) through the CIC portal or simply a mail to NDVO explaining them ur problem and asking them to update u on the same, or even fax them.

Dear Sumit,

So you deleted spam and also emptied the Trash, No worries Your NOC code and timelines are almost same as mine, I have yet to receive my MR, in all probability you would also not have received it, just to make sure please do the below three things :-

1. As suggested by amit u may send the case specific query to CIC.
2. You can apply for CAIPS (in your case it should be GCMS as per your timeline)- you get the response in 2-3 weeks max.
3. And for future create a filter in your mail account with your file number so that any mail containing your file number cannot be sent to spam or any other folder.

We received your application for permanent residence on March 29, 2012.
We started processing your application on August 1, 2012.
Medical results have been received. Sep 6, 2012.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision. Jan 7, 2013

Not sure how to react ???
