People who applied for Study Permit LA consulate for Fall 2013?

I receive an Email from the LA office regarding the approval of my study permit. Approval Date:28/08/2013.
Do you guys know when will I receive my passport? They didn't inform me about the passport delivery.

Congrats !! ...don't know about the passports...I am still waiting for my passport... and its almost a week

I think, yes you need. In my case I went home and will be back here in couple of days. So I will get my study permit at Pearson Airport. I guess you can use any nearby point of entry, like Niagara falls/rainbow bridge.

hi there,

does anyone applied from Canada needed an interview in person?
I want to apply, I am a visitor in Canada...

CIC told me something like this (I emaild them)

It is important to know that you may be asked to go for an in person interview at that office. If you have to go for an interview, you must make sure that you have all the required documents to enter that country.

and unfortunately I don't have a visa to enter the USA

i applied for mine on the 19th of JUly by paper to the Los Angeles office. I have received no e mail or notification from them. i only tracked the postage via canada post tracking and it said delivered august 19th. do they have my file.. arent they supposed to e mail me already.. it been two weeks
