I would like to know who did apply from Abu Dhabi office in may . also I want to know if any one got the visa , how long did it take to get it . I mean how many weeks ?

Usually it takes 4-8 weeks

I am going to centennial college .. I will study mechanical Eng. technology

Was told it will take 4-6 weeks.

I guess response time can vary depending on mode of application, case etc.

Correct. I remember, when I first applied for my sp, the guy in VFS Abu Dhabi told me it can take about 3-6 weeks.

in the embassy website it says 4 - 6 weeks , the VFS says 3 -6 weeks . and in the cic website it says 10 weeks .

I don't know which on is right . ??? ???

There is a difference in the processing given in the different sites. This confused me too. I'm just taking what the VFS told me for granted.

If it gets delayed further, there might be some processing difficulties which may never know. All we can do is wait.

Processing time is varied depending on the volume of application received by the embassy. Usually, May-July has the most number of applicants, because of the upcoming september intake. We can expect to receive our results maybe 4 weeks onwards. Don't worry guys, it will come, and hopefully with a positive feedback

Hi All,

I applied from VFS Abu Dhabi on 8th june 2014. When i asked the VFS person how much time it really takes for the study permit, he first asked my nationality and then said 3 weeks for my nationality. So i guess nationality plays a part as well.

It has been just over 3 weeks and now I am anxious as well. Fingers crossed. Lets all share our anxieties
