Pending Asylum in USA want to get student visa in Canada.

Hi,

I came USA in the year 2015 on F1 visa and successfully completed my graduation and due the some issues in my country I had file asylum in the year 2017. (My visa valid until Nov 2019, I-94 is active but SEVIS expired).

Now my asylum application is in pending, done with bio metrics, got my EAD(work authorization) and Waiting for interview. Now I want to study in Canada, I have following questions please help me.

Will I get student visa to Canada with my Asylum application pending in USA?

What is the appropriate way to apply Canada student visa with asylum pending in USA?

IRCC will still know you tried to claim asylum in the US and are therefore high-risk to do so in Canada as well. You have no chance of approval for any form of temporary residence in Canada right now.

Agreed with others. A study permit to Canada will be refused. You would need to return to your home country and spend at least a couple of years there re-establishing ties before a study permit application could be successful.
