PEC registration for Pakistan engineers?

How about attestation from ministry of foreign office?

As long as u hav gotten the degree verified from issuing university and HEC and then gotten them notarized, thts fine in case of canada. If u hav time then u can get it attested from foreign ministry aswel..

It is said on HEC website that we need to register with PEC first in order to get HEC attestation. Is it really required to do so? I have my last degree verified from the institute and i believe it will be enough for HEC attestation. Any advice pls?

@mussadsar Assuming you have now got your documents HEC attested, was PEC registration required before getting documents attested by HEC?

Hi Luqman,
I did get my PEC before HEC. In 2017, the PEC was partially functional and due to this I had a long delay in acquiring my PEC. I somehow managed to get a letter from PEC stating that my registration is under process. Same letter I had submitted to HEC which they accepted. I got my PEC almost a month after receiving HEC documents. Hope it helps..

I am confused whether I should go for PEC before HEC or not. My batch is listed in https://www.pec.org.pk/schedule_first.aspx . Without PEC registration will HEC reject my application? Have you heard whether someone's engineering degree got attested by HEC without PEC registration?

I passed out in 2006 and had my HEC attested after I got the degree. I never did PEC before until I applied for Immigration and asked to revalidate as its more than 10 years from the 1st attestation. You may try your luck, as you will only loose a little time.
