Apply with the current PCC, I have applied my PR without PCC and I have received AOR and information letter for asking PCC and that will save some time for you. Meanwhile you can apply for new PCC while your file in process, they will usually give 30 days time to send any requested documents. I hope this information helps.
I did the same, applied PR in Feb without PCC and applied mine & my wife PCC while our file was processing. After getting AOR, I got PCC request which I submitted by webforms. But they requested PCC again from my wife has she came to Canada after getting AOR & they gave me 60 days to submit. My PCC report is clear as of today and I have 30 more days to submit.
So OP here already has PCC done in march, so he can use that one for applying PR and If after getting AOR they again request for PCC, he will have 60 days to get new one.
I have also applied for PCC again today after the last one had to be withdrawn as my passport renewal was in process. BLS cannot process 2 applications at same time for your passport and they only remembered after I paid for it lol. I had given the old PCC for expired passport but since the new passport came just got delivered, I will have to do it again for the new one as requested by representative( Just to be on safe side/No one asked for it yet). I stayed in India for 3 months last year.
PCC is valid for 6 months to 1 year period but if your last PCC is kinda old then go for the new one. It takes 9-10 days anyway for most cases.
