PCC validity for Express Entry

Hi,

I am from Nepal.Currently I am in Canada in Work Permit.
I was in Dublin during my WP processing.
While filing for Work Permit, I had applied for PCC for Nepal and was issued on Apr 2014.
I moved to Canada on Nov 2014.
After I moved to Canada, I went back to Nepal on vacation on Oct 2015 for about 2.5 months.

Could you please let me know if the PCC that was issued on Apr 2014 during my WP process, can be used for express entry too?

No, you need to get a new PCC and don't submit the old one, they may reject your application. The PCC should no more than 6 months old.

I am confused here.

Does all the PCC must must be less than 6 months or only the PCC of the cournty of residence?
I am currently in Canada. But went on vacation to my country of birth for about 2 and half months.
But I already had PCC before coming to Canada which was issued while applying for WP.

CIC website states the below. I am not sure, once I got the PCC and went on vacation for 2.5 months in my country of birth, do I need a new PCC again?

For the country you currently live in, the police certificate must be issued no more than six months before you apply.
For countries where you have lived for six months or more, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you lived in that country.
