Hello guys,

I am getting a bit confused with this:

I am about to pay a certified translator for the translation from Spanish to English. The translator will put its stamps with affidavit but, do I have to get the PCC notarised ? That does not make any sense to notarised a copy of the original and then translate it.

Could you help me or give any ideas on how to proceed on this?

Thank you!

You see some countries have concept of notary-translator they are translators with power of notary, so when they translate - they put a stamp on it. This true for most countries i would say.
