PCC requirement for FSW

Hi All,

Would like to know that is PCC required to be submitted with application?

I am currently in canada and may not be able to get PCC in time for my application as I need to be in India to get it.

Please advise.

It is advisable, not mandatory to send along with the application. But you should have it ready as and when they ask you later.

You don't have to be in India to get it. You can get it from nearest Indian consulate.

I am currently in canada on business visitor visa. Can I still get PCC certificate from indian embassy?

Yes you can but I am not sure if you can get it from Indian embassy. You have to go to BLS. Below is link:

I know a person who got a PCC from their embassy. Although indeed it's not a mandatory requirement but it's always good to be on the safe side.
