Doc's Request.

Does anyone provide letter of request from CIC to apply for PCC.

In my case I need letter to apply for 2 countries . Does CIC provide a generic request letter so I can use it for those 2 countries to obtain PCC?

Thanks

Not really (as far as I know)

you mean the letter is specifically addressed to some country ?
There's no letter (edit: in my case). I just went to the place that gives PCC, took it translated it and uploaded it.

Which countries? If you can name them it will be easy to tell you the right method.

Seems like there's a lot of confusion here. I'd suggest OP firstly check IRCC's specific requirements for PCCs from each particular country.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp

Below are a few operational steps
1. you need to determine from which country(ies) you need to get the PCCs from. The general principle is that you need one for each country you lived/spent for more than 6 months
2. For each country, IRCC makes specific instructions on how to get the PCC. If the instruction says you need a letter from IRCC (in most cases, after you submit the official EE application)

SINGAPORE and indian embassy in a
SINGAPORE

For Indian PCC you are required to upload PCC upfront and doesn't need any letter from CIC. You will need to see CIC website for more details as procedure is slightly different for each state.

However, for Singapore you will upload a word document stating I require PCC from Singapore that needs Letter from CIC.

Once your completeness Test is passed CIC will send you a letter and procedure of how to get PCC from Singapore.

I hope this will help.

Ok, in that case, you should attach a word letter and wait for CIC to send you letter.

I have read about a case where CIC rejected the application as incomplete when the applicant uploaded the word document for Indian PCC in Singapore. It was a weird situation as CIC was not giving the letter and the Indian Embassy in Singapore was not issuing the PCC without the letter. Many people on this forum have got Indian PCC from Singapore upfront. Please search about it and better upload the Indian PCC upfront.

Edit: I asked a few people who got PCC from Indian Embassy in Singapore, they suggested that the ITA letter alone will suffice for getting the Indian PCC. I hope this helps!

Good luck!
