PCC (Police Clearance Certificate) to get in advance, before ITA?

Hi Folks,

I am in EE pool with CRS score of 420. Currently i m working in Canada. I have came to know that Indian consulate takes 45 days to issue PCC. Moreover they also take original passport and return it only when PCC is issued.

After receiving ITA, they give only 60 days to submit documents. Is it advisable to get PCC in advance? Is there any expiry date of PCC. Any information on this will be a great help.

In my opinion Yes, Which country origin you are from ? I am from India, and its pretty tough to get the appointment dates from PSK's so its better to get it before hand. Anyways its allowed for one year validity and personally did the same mine got expried span of a year and and took again because I was travelling to UK for project.

I have recent one which I am intent to use. Your are with 420 good going please initiate the process. By the let know our country.
