Hi guys,

I am facing the below mentioned problem with my police clearance certificate for the country in which have resided for 6 months or more.

1. Certificate issued by "x" person but signed by person "y".

2. Didn't mention the word "hospital" where i was born. Instead of writing "born at Women's hospital they wrote "born at Women's".

Rest of details mentioned in pcc are correct.

Is this going to create any problem in future?

Thanks

If it is easy to re-issue it, better do it.

If its US FBI Summary check - then its ok, my FBI summary check had all sort of mistakes.... :)

No, no problems, they don't care where you were born (at least for the PCC), only that you don't have a criminal record. If the rest of the details are correct, it's pretty good! :)

Hi jes,

I hope my 1st point will also not be a problem.

It states like" I mr. Jes, chief officer/clerk of court of appeal of Ghana here by certifies that MVD has not been found guilty of any charges. Then all my details.

But signed by "Catherine" chief officer/clerk of court".

I think everything should be ok. If it is the official document that you have received, then it should all check out if CIC need to contact the office that you received it from. All these little things to add to our stresses, but I wouldn't get too worried about it.
