Hi,
Has anyone submitted PCC to London CHC ,under SAP,few days older than 3 months (and less than 4 months old) n got accepted by CIC , plz share ur experiences.

Sorry I do not have the link but they usually ask (in some visa offices) that the PCC should not be more that 3 months old at the time of submission. I am not sure what is the requirement of London office.

Have a good read of the update letter you have received and act accordingly.

All the best.

in india, at the time when file is opened it should not be more than 6 months

They should not be more than 3 months old. The instructions are VERY specific in CIC website. Here is the link:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/intro.asp

"The certificate must have been issued no more than three months before you submit your application."

Regards.

Does 'submit the application' mean the initial submission or the submission of supporting documents?

this is a good question. even i had this. Does the date mean the initial application date or the full application date? seniors, please respond. thnx. George.

That statement is meant for people who submitted their Police Certificate with their initial application. If you are asked at a later stage to submit it, still has to be less than 3 months old from the date you send it... Bottom line it can't be more than 3 months old! Anything else, you may delay your process...

hi juanda, thanks for ur reply. My PCC for india will be 4 months old by the time the fulll application leaves my hand to the delhi visa office. But if we think logically, 1 month after the PCC for india was taken, i left india and till this time i am outside the country. is it okay to send the same eventhough it is more than 3 months old.

i mean, I have spent only one month inside India after the PCC was received. is that okay Gentleman?

rgds, George.

I understand what you mean... but the issue is still the same. I also got my PCC before leaving my country (I was a student in Canada), but because of some documents I had to delay my application and even though I wasn't living back home and was living in Canada during my application I got a new PCC with the help of my family because... It can't be more than 3 months old!!! ; ). Is up to you if you wan't to take your chances... the instructions are very clear.

Regards.
