PCC issued from Maharashtra State is it ok ?

Dear Friends,

can we submit pcc issued from State Police Department for PR or it has to be through consulate ? I can get pcc faster from Maharashtra than getting one from BLS. I guess it won't be in Govt of India letter head , but in State of Maharashtra.
the letter will have my passport number and period of stay. Please share your opinion.

Are you from Pune or Mumbai? BTW, Where are you located currently in Canada?

Why do you want to make it so fast. Iif you submit your PCC along with application also, it takes minimum 1year to get your PR card. It is not mandatory to send PCC along with application. You can send it later after getting your AOR. PCC come in 2-4 weeks by BLS even few people have got in 5 days.

So don't try something new.
