Hi, I am trying to get PCC from my local police in India and facing few issues, any advice from people who have already got PCC from local police will be very helpful.

1. My problem, I have stayed in different hostels in the 7 years out of past 10 years, since my college and work place are both away from my native. Though I have a permanent address in my native, In the address history I can't provide my native address for all the 7 years since it is obvious that I couldn't have stayed in my native address when my college and work place are in different districts. My local police requires reference letters from each of my hostel owners and it seems my PCC will have a detailed information mentioning each of my hostel addresses. Getting ref letter from all the hostels is almost impossible and most of them are not being run now. Has any one faced such situation. What is the best way out?

Please help

This was discussed in the thread @deyka is referring to. I personally do not see any reasons on why PSK PCC should be invalid for CIC applications. PSK is afterall a very credible central government body which handles immigration and associated criminal checks anyways. Based on what we see in this forum, there are people who got PR using PSK PCC and most other applicants get their PCCs done from PSK.

What you should have done is just give your permanent native address for all your past years. Bcuz your native address local police station gonna issue the PCC.

Now if you have already given address of different hostels then tell them that its not possible to get reference from all addresses.
Tell the truth and ask them to proceed with your application.

If that doesn't work pay them some bribe as that's how its works in a 3rd world country like India.

Last thing PCC from PSK is valid/legit as long as you have their facility in your city.

Check below to see if your town has PSK

Check PCC availability of dates in your town
