Hi,

My spouse is working in Canada and we are expecting ITA in next draw under CEC.

I like to know can I get my PCC from India before ITA. What should I show as documentary proof of immigration application to PSK India?

Anyone got PCC before ITA. Please help.

I applied for PCC within Canada before I received my ITA-CEC (May 31st) and I got my PCC after my ITA as it takes 4 weeks which is normal. The document that I provided were: Passport along with stamped visa pages, Post-Grad Work Permit, Canadian driving license, Indian driving license, Aadhar Card, Pan Card, Canadian apartment lease agreement, 2 photos. I provided extra documents so that they wouldn't have to ask me for further required documents.

You can apply for PCC anytime ITA is not required.

You just need to inform the passport seva office that PCC is for immigration purpose to Canada and they will issue it.

Old passport in original with self-attested photocopy of its first two and last two pages including ECR/Non-ECR page and page of observation (if any).

Proof of Present Address (in case of change of address)

Documentary proof of applying for Residential Status, Employment (Copy of Employment contract) or Long term visa or for immigration.

I don't have any of these documents

Sorry I thought you are temporary resident in Canada..
if you are in India and applying for PCC to come to Canada I don't think you don't need any documents listed on point 3, that's not applicable for you

I applied in PSK India for a PCC before ITA recently, No documentary proof is asked or needed. Just provide a copy of passport. That is all. PCC will be issued.
