PCC from Nigeria and POF

Do we have to get PCC notarized by the high commission?

Went through CIC website and I am not clear with this part of the instructions on there it says:

'Note: Police certificates can be certified at your nearest Nigerian embassy or consulate for a fee.'


On POF, I indicated $15,000 on my EE profile but I have £22,000 (over 33,000 CAD) on my bank statement should this be a problem?

You should be good with the POF you have. To get the PCC what I did was that I sent my finger print to a family in naija to help me do it at Alagbon. I instructed that they send me the soft copy since it's what you really need to complete your application the hard copy later in the mail

Hello Tfeddy did you get your PCC notarized at the high commission when you received it from Nigeria and did you take your finger prints yourself or at a police station or in present of a witness?

I did the finger printing myself, did not notarize it, sent to family in Nigeria to process at alagbon and I uploaded with the finger prints. Got PPR.
