PCC from multiple states (India)?

Hello All,

CIC website says, PCC is required from all the countries/territories where one has lived for more than 6 months post the age of 18 years.

So, if I have stayed in multiple places (and so states) in India post age of 18 years, do I need PCC from all these cities? Will getting PCC from the city from where my passport is issued will suffice? I have stayed in Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune for more than 6 months.. So, its seems to be herculean task if I have to get 4 PCC from 3 different states!!

Thanks in advance!!

Bro,

India is one country.

Police Report is centralized in India,

You need to get your PCC from Passport Office & they will help you in this regard.

The report generated for you will be centralized, meaning its covering your record on a complete country, India & not for any particular district or state or U.T.

@ geetsingh, @AgentC

My case is also same as described by Geet. I have stayed in vadodara, mumbai, bangalore, pune and currently in new delhi.

I have my passport done from Vadodara. So,filling online PP form from 'online passport' and getting certificate will suffice my requirement.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Regards
Hardi

Sir,

Final Confirmation.

Police Verification process via Passport Office is a Centralized Process in India.

Today, if any one is convicted in India & that is recorded by any authority, whether Police, Taxation Office, any Court, it is a Centralized Process.

Isn't our passport centralized, or do we make different passports for different states in India?

PCC is your report for PAN India. Period.

Hi everyone
I have applied for family visa. I have stayed in different states of India. Now, I have submitted PCC which I got it directly from local police station of my permanent address. I didn’t apply at PSK of my area. Now, I am worried that is it sufficient or again I need to get it from PSK?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks a lot. Last question, shall I raise CSE or wait for CIC to ask me to resubmit my PCC?
Raise a CSE and submit the new PCC at the earliest.
There have been multiple cases of applications being rejected due to wrong PCC or a PCC which doesn’t cover the entire stay at a given place.

hi ..my passport is made in 2015 but how will I prove my stays before 2015 ?? Or creation of passport doesn’t matter for PCC PSK as will it cover my stays earlier to its creation ???
