PCC from India

Hello Folks,

I need some information regarding PCC, I am an Indian Citizen.

I am going to file my PR under CEC, I need to provide my Police Clearance Certificate from India.

I am actually planning to travel to India very shortly, I came to know that PCC processing time in Toronto Indian Embassy may vary.

Can I get the PCC from India when I travel to India?

Please let me know.

Karteek, if you are traveling soon to India, its better you apply when you reach India. Usually PCC takes 4-6 weeks. If you are here for another 2 months, it make sense to apply from here. I hope this helps.

Yes. Getting the PCC in india is preferable. If you are smart enough you can get it within a week in India. Hope you understand.

You can apply through Passport Seva Kendra

Book an appointment online on passport office's website. You can get the PCC from the designated center in mere couple of hours. Don't forget to book an appointment prior hand, will save you lots of time and hassels.
