Hello All,

please i need some help!..I am a QSW applicant. I hav my interview scheduled in Nov for QSW. God willing i ger CSQ, i want to apply for PCC now, so tht there is no delay later on if result is positive.

I have a doubt. I live in India. after the age of 18 years, i have lived in two cities in India for more than 6 months. So do i need to get PCC from each city or one in which i m living since 2years is sufficient??

Please help me

CIC looks@PCCs based on a Federal outlook, not city specific. So, if yours is issued by any state / city of India, it's perfectly alright. Go ahead & obtain it from your current city of residence, it'd be fine.

I also thought that, so what i gather is one needs PCC from India(could be any one city) rather than different cities in India.

Thanks a lot!

Hi Shahi,

You can visit the cic website. In that they do not necessarily require a police certificate. A certificate even from the Regional Passport office would suffice. Since regional passport office would take care of all the cities and your stay in the country, clearance from them would relieve you of getting PCC's from different cities in India.

Ajit
