Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi,

I am aware that in India we can apply for PCC at PSK. I want to know about cases or documents required by Police for verification for spouse or dependent.

Basically, we stay at rented place (city A) and our passports have our permanent address (city B). Now while applying for my PCC, I will go to PSK of city A. I am taking rented agreement (and gas connection details) for my verification. However, unfortunately my wife does not have any such documents. Rented agreement and gas connection is on my name, others such as electricity bills etc is on owner's name.
Only thing is that we can show our marriage certificate (again unfortunately with permanent address on it) as a relation proof and my documents as proof of residence, does that satisfy and work?

Basically, if someone has gone through such cases and can guide on solution?

Thanks.

Is your spouse having Pass book from a PSU bank ? .... make sure it has her photo pasted in it and it's stamped & signed by the branch.

If not, go to a PSU bank and open a new bank account and that would work.

A new account opened will not work, I think.

PSU Bank passbook is a government (bank) certified address proof and is a valid evidence for his spouse's CURRENT address.

If you go for fresh/renewal of passport...PSK will ask for recently issued address proof (like monthly electricity bill) and 1 address proof that was issued at least 1 year back - a PSU bank passbook (with stamped photo) showing recent as well as 1 year old transactions fulfil both requirements plus it's also an id proof so 1 document fufills all PSK requirement.
